According to Japanese blog Macotakara, the device named iPad Pro would be similar to iPad 2 in quite a few features, yet will stand out in most.
iPad Pro will feature a 12.2-inch screen, similar to Surface Pro 3, to give a tough fight to Microsoft's flagship device. According to the blog, the new Apple tablet will have a similar width and height of that of Microsoft Surface Pro 3 but will be thick, like the latest smartphones of its own: iPhone 6 and iPhone6 Plus.
According to the rumour, iPad Pro will have a better speaker than iPad Air 2 and will feature two speakers for better audibility. The new device is expected to fill the gap between the current iPad devices and laptops, if Apple is ready to change the software and bring out an attachable keyboard like Microsoft, ASUS and Lenovo offers with their hybrid devices.
The pair of speakers and microphone will be added to the top side, rather than crafting it on the bottom. Thus, iPad Pro will be able to deliver stereo sound, and Apple may improvise this tablet with better audibility to get a sales boost.
Significantly, tablet sales have gone down in the last quarter drastically, since bigger size phablets are slowly eating up the space between laptops and handheld devices. Phablets like iPhone 6, iPhone6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note and the latest Nexus 6 are getting huge applause from consumers.
The Pro series of Apple is known to integrate better hardware, great software integration and good multimedia features.
Macotakara also revealed that iPad Pro would feature the same design of iPad Air 2 and would integrate iSight camera, lightning connector and Touch ID sensor. The blog also mentioned that this device will possibly be made available by the third quarter of 2015.
